Most bathroom slips start on a wet, smooth surface: the tub floor, the step out, the tile after a shower. Grip on each of those surfaces matters more than any single product.
Before you choose non-slip grip
- Treat the tub floor and the step out as one job. Grip inside the tub and a mat that stays put outside it, because the step from wet to dry is where feet slide.
- Suction needs a smooth surface. Suction-cup mats do not hold on textured or refinished tubs. There, adhesive treads or anti-slip tape are the better choice.
- Stairs count too. Clear adhesive treads add grip to wooden steps without covering the wood.

Vive Health, a manufacturer we partner with, makes its own non-slip shower and bath mats and sells them from its own store. Buying direct means one maker handles the order, the shipping and any question afterwards. Prices there are set by Vive, not by us.
