What we can help with
Questions about a specific situation. Tell us the
problem — the stairs, the shower, getting to the car — and we will point you at the
page that covers it, or tell you honestly if we have not written it yet.
Something wrong on the site. A dead link, a product
no longer available, a price that has moved. We would genuinely like to know; it is the fastest
way this gets better.
Manufacturers and brands. If you make something in
this space, we are glad to hear about it. We do not accept payment for a recommendation, and we
buy or independently verify what we write about.
What we cannot help with
We are not clinicians and we cannot assess a person’s needs by
email. If someone has had a fall, or their mobility has changed recently, an occupational
therapist can assess the person and the home together and will give you better guidance than
any website — ours included. Your doctor can refer you.
